Furahaa was founded by Arthur Devillers around a simple belief: a business can be commercially successful and deeply inclusive at the same time. "Furahaa" means "joy" in Swahili — a name chosen after he discovered a school for the deaf in Congo and set out to create employment and visibility for the world's 400 million deaf people.
أسّس آرثر ديفيليرز فراحة حول قناعة بسيطة: يمكن للعمل أن يكون ناجحاً تجارياً وشاملاً بعمق في آنٍ واحد. و"فراحة" تعني "الفرح" بالسواحيلية — اسم اختير بعد أن اكتشف مدرسة للصمّ في الكونغو وعزم على خلق فرص عمل وظهور لـ٤٠٠ مليون أصمّ في العالم.
